I want to tell you a story about a real loser…
It might make you cry - or if you already did what the hero in the story did it might make you nearly bust with joy…
Long Ago, In A Far Off Land, A Hero Stood And looked, out across…
Let me start my story differently today ok?
One month ago, on a Unimax Webpage, I announced that I wanted to help all my friends and subscribers.
I sent 40,000 emails out with the message…
I told them that I would do many things, one of which was to give a brand new, fully set up and running business away so they could do better, and make more money online.
I sent 40,000 emails out.
And 340 people decided to take me up on my offer to pay for their business, pay for their hosting to pay for the every thing…
And get their free business. My question is, my list of customers, friends and subscribers all know that I am successful online so why did only .085 % of my list go and get the free business, I created and paid for and had set up for them?
Why did less that 1% of my list not take a free business?
I have some possible answers:
1.) They didn’t get the email
2) They got the email but don’t care about making money
3) It required “some” amount of effort
4) A free business didn’t seem sexy
5) They didn’t believe I could make a business that rocked and then would give it away…
All in all, most of the people couldn’t be bothered to even go and put in their name and email because that was all it required, so my hopes of blessing men, women, families went out to 340 people instead of thousands.
Ok so now let’s look at the other side of the coin…
There are now 340 people that own a killer business, and it will build their list and will do some automatic advertising for them, and will help them adveritse their favorite(s) websites that they own…
Pretty good…
And something else? I told 40,000 people, you better grab it quick because this is a killer business and I am getting ready to sell it and I won’t give it away free any more.
And today, I did just that, I just submitted it to Click Bank, did a huge JV deal and I expect to make a great deal of money from it.
I told you.
Why am I telling you, “I told you so”? Because, I am about to tell you something else that some of you will jump on and will probably greatly benefit from, while some of you will not even look at???

Their initial issues with processing are over, they are back live and I can’t give secrets away but they have a plan that could be very, very big meaning you could make your fortune with the link I put above. Or you could read another email in a month or two down the road, telling about how you missed another great opportunity that you will never have the chance at again.

Think now.. you just heard about me giving a business away to everyone that moved on my recommendation…

Richard Weberg just submitted a post, I will respond to it. I rarely do as many comments are private as they are from grateful people sharing their hearts and I do the same with them… seems kind of private.
And sometimes I get really nasty, painful ones, those are better simply ignored and not ever mentioned again. And then there are ones like what Richard just left for us. Frustrated and acting out. Let’s see what we can do with that….
Richard Weberg : Well, I applaud your efforts and your sarcasm.
Paul Darby: What a shame that you have to be so mean. There was no sarcasm intended Richard. There was lot’s of hope praise and love, and energy and heart. How is it that you choose such a mean spirited email in response to a blog where I was discussing ways for my friends and subscribers to make money?
Richard Weberg : One thing I would like to point out is you jump from business to business, one minute you promote the silver program and the next your promoting something else, and another minute passes and you promote another business.
Paul Darby: Actually you don’t need to point out my business plan Richard, as I am the one that owns 153 web properties and 3 real World companies, I am very aware of my business model.
Your interpretation is as above very negative and because of your filter of being so negative your viewpoint here has been affected as well. I don’t jump around Richard, my offices are in one place.
What I do is market about 180 opportunities at any given moment as most of the larger earners do online and as I teach my students to do. The fact that I spend time on each one and explain and help and offer splash pages and videos and free businesses to help with a lot of them is why I don’t include everything I have in ever email.
Now isn’t that nicer than your attack that I jump around? Something for you to consider before you lanch out meanness trying to cause someone pain…
And it’s a shame really Richard, I mean right in the middle of a blog about me giving of my time and heart and money to give away 340 businesses you feel the need to attack me and to try to hurt me.
That’s kind of sad…
Richard Weberg : If your a leader you have to stand for something if you want people to follow you.
Paul Darby: : Uh.. Richard, it’s pretty well accepted that I have a large following both online and offline in many businesses, that I am active in my community events and also contribute in a Global way with some of my activities and donations so the “If I am a leader” statement seems to be another blast of hate… Really? Again?
I take advice from mentors, primarily Christian Business men who are family men and who are very successful and together, so I won’t be taking your statements of what I should do to satisfy you Richard as so far you have not been very nice to me, nor are your statements demonstrative of a man who would seek advice from… Right?
Richard Weberg :Your emails half the time dont even make sense
Paul Darby: Is that right? Bless your heart, a 50% understanding rate huh? :- )
Richard Weberg : you confuse people more than you lead them.
Paul Darby: : Ok so let’s get this out in the open , you are not the leader or the spokesperson for anyone other than your self. You seem to want to represent the confused and unsuccessful voices on the internet for some reason… Unfortunately the confused and unsuccesful are not in one accord to elect a spokesperson, and if they were, is that really your highest calling?
Richard Weberg : Because you dont prove ever that anyone thing will work for someone only a person with a huge list that can hop from program to program and make money because even if they have a list with 40,000 people on it they can pass down an email and some small percentage will join.
Paul Darby: : Because I never prove? Really? I think we just found that part of you that is 50% confused and let me add, 100% mean and angry. I primarily teach others how to build a list just as I have done and continue to do… so let’s stop with the angry attacks and the meaness, it isn’t serving you well Richard.
Richard Weberg : I would bet their is a handful, if any of the people off your list that make any money. THEY DONT HAVE LIST WITH 40,000 PEOPLE ON IT. If any program is so good……….why are you always promoting something else..I guarantee you by next week or the week after it will be a different money making scheme problem only a small percentage of 40,000 people fall for it, because the average person wont make any money because they dont have a list!
Paul Darby: We have covered this earlier in the email, it seems to me that you are very angry Richard and you are choosing to unleash your anger on me. I have big shoulders there guy but they are for my wife and daughter and granddaughter.
Richard Weberg : I challenge any SO CALLED GURU to teach people, the average people how to make money with a program. I have been with the same business for over 6 years and it has worked very well, because I dont jump from program to program, I just keep focusing on to create more sales(same program).
Paul Darby: Granted there are a lot of people selling garbage, however you choose what you buy, don’t you? And to focus on the negative will keep your thinking and your actions where you are now. Perhaps changing your thinking will change your actions and that will lead you to enjoy better results…
Richard Weberg : I would have NEVER made any real money on the internet had I listened to any gurus or kept jumping ship!
Paul Darby: So you are successful online? That is wonderful! Please comment back with the program that you have done so well with and I will put it on this blog for all my subscribers to see and that will get you some free advertising ok?
Perhaps you can stop being angry and start being nicer, if I take your mean spirited email and give you a gift. If I offer friendship and forgiveness perhaps you may choose to behave differently?

Wendell Clark: I am feeling like a loser because after spending $294, getting zero in return.
Paul Darby: It is a shame to hear that kind of self speak, which has nothing to do with any situation but is more of a life issue… you may wish to not speak that over yourself…
And… what did you spend $294 on and get nothing in return for?
Wendell Clark: I have tried your support site 3 times. I have received zero response. I have sent emails to other email addresses also with zero response.
Paul Darby: Wendell my customer support and operations Manager Jonathan Liardon, is a very hard worker, and a very smart man.. he has run companies bigger than mine and is now re-vamping my customer service dept in an effort to make it the best experience for Unimax Customers possible.
We recently had an experience with the FBI, Bank Examiners and an entire industry after being involved in an international banking fraud that quite frankly nearly destroyed Unimax Services and took considerable time from Jonathan as we worked to supply information requested to aid the successful ending of the fraud.
Every website we have has our new support ticket system on it, and I after constant checking know that our support tickets are all answered as quickly as possible, normally 95% percent of the time within 48 business hours if not earlier.
Perhaps you should visit any of the Unimax Sites and click on the support tab, it is there on every one, and they all bring you to a very friendly and efficient ticket system.
In any case, put in a ticket let’s get you taken care of - I assure you that every one that works at and with my company has a heart to help people and I am constantly pleased as the amount of heart they demonstrate.
Wendell Clark: This is info from my debit account. I thought I was purchasing traffic systems. put I have not received anything. If your in the business of name calling right now my impression is that you are a lier and thief
Paul Darby: My goodness.. I am not in the business of name calling. But it seems that as I am here on a Friday evening in my home with my lovely wife I am being subjected to the most horrible of abuses from you.. that was just mean and very hurtful Wendell.. you must be very angry and hurt to want to treat another person as you have just treated me.
I just read yesterday about the man who rode down the road and killed 10 people.. just shot them with a rifle out of his car window.. is that what you are working up to? Your behavior is awful. What is it that you are doing to people? I am just a stranger on the internet and don’t for a moment imagine that you are lovely to everyone around you but choose me to unleash something like this on as something you never do…
My goodness… It’s bizarre. Wendell… brother… find some people who love you and who have your best interests at heart and get going on some new thinking.
I’ve been a mess.. and often am not the man that I wish to be… and make mistakes. I want to recommend that you find a church locally and get in a small group of Christains.. people who can love on you and be friends with you and fill some needs…
Don’t be mean to people there’s too much of that already isn’t there?
Ok, uh… Im done with the customer service part andthe advice part. Please contact support and be very courteous as I will not allow you to treat my friends as you have me today ok?

Today I paid honor to two angry men. Been there, done that, got the T-shirt myself.
I won’t honor any more anger here.. I just wanted to respond to these two men tonight…
Again thank you to all of you guys who write in such nice stuff our blogs are filled with your comments, heart, love, best wishes, and excitement.
I will now return to featuring YOU and not “acting out” and poor behavior.

Tell me Paul, Why is it the people that lash out and are so angry at the successful people on the internet, always the ones to post negativly to others positive actions.
I to have had several of my own people in on my list blast me for efforts created to make them money, Maybe they don’t make enough, fast enough.
But one should stop and think for a minute, They should look at what gifts are being given to them, They should recieve them as blessings and everyday be grateful for the blessings they recieve.
Please do not dwell on the negative peoples remarks, Rejoice in them so we know that we are the people God would have us be.
Your dedication to help people is honorable, Thank You.

I am one of those that have stuck it out on the internet and have been around almost 20 years now. I do very well and have seen just about everything on the internet. I have to say that Paul is one of the most honest business people I have ever met. I too like Paul have many sites and a large customer list. I didn’t get there over night nor have it fall in my lap. I worked steadily towards a goal. Some things worked while some things did not but I never lashed out at the messenger. It is my decision to do or not do… to join or not join.
I get my share of emails as Paul has illustrated.
Paul is right on the money. You can give many people the same thing and you will always have your few that scream foul and that you never did a thing for them. This is usually the ones that want something for nothing or never do anything with what they just bought. In other words, they sit and want it to fall in their lap while watching TV 12 hours a day and wonder why their life does not change.
On the other hand you have people that take it and run with it and have it change their life. (whatever “it” may be).
I have known Paul for many years. He is one of the most amazing marketers I have ever seen. The tools and methods he designs are incredible. His methods are sound.
I urge those of you that are looking for a leg up in this bad economy, to take his suggestions and advice sincerely and if it is right for you… run with it.
Notice I did not say sit with it.

Dear Paul, I think you are genious and a good hearted person. If you offer someone love and goodness but they do not accept it, I believe what you should do is leave them alone to find their own answers. I am amazed the time you allowed yourself that long to entertain Richard. However, you both must stand for many a people who share similar sentiments and convictions. Except what I do know is that, there is a need for mentors/training for the less knowledged,experienced and skilled in any given profession. In this instance for online marketing and internet business , you sure do have the the acumen,suave,skills and knowledge to offer to those who seek/need it like myself. I have tried to join soo many programs online. Paul,your emails were very encouraging to me and probably to so many other people. I attempted to take you up on your free business offer on numerous occasions a month or so ago.I was very confused.First,the websight was not downloading then,I was spinning with so many different choices and once again I failed. Please help I have been trying for almost 2 years to make it with internet marketing.I can only do one business at a time because I am trying to learn and I am also a mother of 2 very needy children

Just want to say that i think you are “The Internet Marketing Angel” that God has put in so many of our lives who are struggling to make a better life for us and our families by building a successful online business.
It’s sad to read and here so many negative comments from people who for starters have only there personal inetrest at heart.
The comments made about the support from you or your support staff is absolutely untrue in my experience with Unimax Services. for the record
I myself had an issue with ordering and you and your support was Second To None.
Keep your head up and keep doing what you’re doing to help those that are struggling and need someone like you to mentor and show them the right way to the things that will make there internet experience more profitable.

Two things about life I know.There are people who are poor and people who are broke.The people who are poor are in a class which often can’t be helped.The people who are broke most know it is a temporary condition.Many people don’t know how to help self to overcome the disabling hits of life.I do I am 76 almost 77 years old the word quit does not exist.I have gone from being worth six million to being worth now about 30 bucks.How is this for a success story.I have bought Stuff on the Internet from you Paul but I did not have the staying power to turn my life around as yet.There was nothing wrong with what I bought from you and with the cash leverage in place it will work. Everything in life depends on playing a game.Have the right card in hand and it falls in place like clockwork.But you need time to regroup and figure it out.I made an Invention I spent my last 75.000 dollars on it.IT was stolen from me I could do one of two things sit down and cry or get up and rebuild it.Raise 100,000 dollars giving up most of it to Investors.I rebuilt it now because of economic down turn I am 6,000 short of the finish.No investor is willing to do more which is stupid but here you have it. I am working my butt of to find the last 6000 to finish it.The invention is one which will rid the exhausting of C02 forever.At the same time i am building an Internet business.WHEN YOU COME TO A WALL YOU LOOK FOR A DOOR.i AM THE AUTHOR OF MY SUCCESS OR FAILURE SO I WILL SUCCEED yOU DOING GOOOD pAUL KEEP AT IT. Like Rachel above I tried twice to set up the free biz but had trouble with the web site. I beleive it’s the aol browser combo.
Any way I can get in?
I haven’t had any trouble since using IE or firefox.
